About raising

The other day I experienced a very unusual way of "raising".

I was standing on my busstop waiting for the bus when an absolutely unkonown African guy approached me (I am 99% sure I had never met him before) and... starts speaking to me in Russian!

Quite shocked a replied him and after a while (when he switched to English as his Russian vocabulary was somewhat similar to Ellochka Schukina's) he told me that he could seed at once that I am a Russian (funny, Russian people usually don't see even after several times, but anyway :)). Like, the Russian people here dress differently and behave differently and he has several Russian friends.

And then after 5 minutes of chat he said: "You know, I need to take a bus from the stop 50 meters from here and I have only 1 euro, could you give me 1,6?"

Maybe it's worth benchmarking? ;)
