Trip to Ukraine

10 days in a country which became my home for 2 years.

Time with my family

Meetings with friends

University

Hm, sometimes people here criticise the university: we don't like some teachers' English (!) accent, we would prefer more prectice or broader overview.

Well, after KNEU it looks just perfect
.

Actually, that was one of the things I felt really bad about: Ukrainians are not stupid (actuualy, the oppposite is true), but why it is the way it is?

Anyway, it was mainly a very happy time: buying presents, rushing around, getting to know new people and learning about the successes of my old good friends.

And I love birthdays. Mine or others. I love seeing a person's face when he or she is really happy to recieve a present. And then all those hours spent on preparation seem just nothing compared to the sheer happiness.

And I also enjoy adoring other people. Hearing how they reached something, their new ideas and businesses. Knowing tat they will succeed. It makes you feel proud for the opportunity to know those people. And it also motivates you to learn and devlop faster.

And it's so pleasant to have the "road home" feeling. Even more pleasant when you feel it twice in both destinations: it's like the 2 different facets of the same self.

And even though I didn't manage to stay for the wedding (which I really regret), I did manage to meet the newly-married husband :) Marriage does change people,... but just a little :)
